Covert Hypnosis is NOT Coversational Hypnosis

December 12, 2009 - 9:09 am 1 Comment

Time and time again people who are interested in power persuasion are being taught that covert hypnosis consist of the use of language patterns that were developed by Dr. Milton Erickson and later refined by the founders of Nero Linguistic Programming. Well, if we just take a look at the actual results that have come of their promises and teachings, we will easily observe that their promises have not lived up to their hype.

The central argue conversational hypnosis is an incompetent device for authentic covert hypnosis is for the reason that conversational hypnosis was made-up for the use of therapy. Therapy and the art of persuasion are two totally diverse areas of human influence that are designed for two entirely different purposes. Trying to use the hypnosis techniques of therapy and applying them to power persuasion would be like trying to use a screw driver as a hammer. You simply cannot remove Ericksonian Hypnosis from its clinical setting and assume it to carry out well.

One of the most essential reasons why conversational hypnosis is feeble within the boundaries of power persuasion is for the reason that in conversational hypnosis, those whom the hypnotist are speaking to have of their own free will came into the clinical environment of the hypnotist. This cooperation is what allows the conversational hypnosis strategies to be applied, for the reason that the client volunteerd for the language patterns to be used in that specific hypnotic process. This is a essential point that those interested in learning power persuasion must comprehend, because more often than not those who are practicing the real forms of covert hypnosis do not have the initial cooperation of those whom they are trying to persuade.

Another interesting observation to make note of is to take a brief look at history: It doesn’t matter if you are examining the lives of Napoleon, Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, or any other influential and influential person who ever lived–none of these people were practicing conversational hypnosis. The reason why we know this is for the reason that Ericksonian Hypnosis wasn’t even born yet, and this shows us that it is impossible that the most victorious and influential people who ever lived were learning and studying a therapeutic kind of hypnosis that wasn’t even yet invented during their lifetime.

Furthermore, ever since Hypnosis was invented, as of yet it has not created one single powerful person or world leader. Ericksonian Hypnosis has, on the other hand, done numerous astonishing things for hypnotic therapy, but it has done very little for hypnotic mind control scenarios that are outside of clinical settings. And it really doesn’t matter how fancy or how sophisticated the techniques of conversational hypnosis appear to be, because they simply cannot have any significant importance outside of the clinical settings they originated in.

On the other hand, Disguised Hypnosis has been the primary instrument of victorious and powerful people since ancient times, and every single technique of Disguised Hypnosis is directly related to the principles of power persuasion. This is why Disguised Hypnosis is great for somebody who wants to strengthen their social status so that they can dominate their social interactions on a consistent basis, because Disguised Hypnosis originated from the very essence of power persuasion as we have known it for centuries.

Hypnotic Persuasion Techniques that are easy to Develop

May 16, 2009 - 1:04 am No Comments

Learning hypnotic persuasion skills from a book can be a complex business this Persuasion Skills Black Book Review will let you know if this is the right book for you.

In The Persuasion Skills Black Book Rintu Basu sets out how to take a few simple hypnotic language patterns and use them in a persuasion context. Whether for sales, dating, parenting, management or any other situation where persuasion skills are useful The Persuasion Skills Black Book aims to give you tools you can use.

To write a comprehensive treatment on conversational hypnosis would make a long book. Rintu says in his book that the main aim was to find easy to use patterns that you can learn very fast. To this end the book is more practical than comprehensive.

Rintu has been a NLP Trainer for nine years and a commercial trainer for over twelve years. He has taught has trained people from many different walks of life and specialises in using applying NLP Persuasion Skills for personal and professional situations.

In The Persuasion Skills Black Book I found the most value was the fact that Rintu very early on gives you patterns that you can use within minutes of seeing them. He then builds these into more complex patterns that have more scope and power. What this meant for me was I could take what I had learned and apply it within minutes and then build on this.

A practical and hands on approach to learning hypnotic language patterns is taken in The Persuasion Skills Black Book. More complex and powerful ideas are taken up only after you have a solid grounding in foundation patterns. Each NLP Language Pattern is clearly illustrated with examples and illustration in different situations.

I quickly started using patterns although I had some hesitation at the start. I had the thought that these patterns would sound strange. But I took the advice from the book and practice saying these patterns out loud on my own first for a few minutes before trying them on other people. When I did I was really surprised at the results. Since then I have noticed I am using patterns without thinking about it and am easily integrating the more powerful ideas in the book.

Having read a few books and looked through a number of websites there seems to be a wealth of confusing and complex information on the subject. Rintu states in his book that there is an upsurge of interest in the subject and my own experience makes me tend to agree with him.

One thing that would make the book even better would be if Rintu had given more examples of using hypnotic persuasion patterns in written form. That said he has one very comprehensive example and sites different places where you can go to see more.

If you want specific hypnotic language patterns that are immediately ready for use then this is the right book for you. What this book won’t give you is in depth theory or complex analysis of hypnotic patterns and words.

If persuasion skills in any context are important to you then this is an important read. Many people would benefit from this book including trainers and teachers looking to develop students, managers wanting to motivate staff, parents managing their children and singles looking for a dream date.

A great addition would be a companion volume with even more examples, applications and illustrations. I would like to think Rintu has seen the opportunity and is writing that book for release.
